Two stunning double faced Aztec beads with a very dark finish.  One side of the faces appear to be normal with headdress and ear decorations.  The other side of the faces depicts a wide eyed and wide mouthed zoomorphic figure that is deeply incised.  Both dangle from a small custom made stand, which is included with the purchase. The length face to face measures approximately 1 1/8 inches and a width of 5/8 of an inch and a height of 7/8 of an inch.  Rare and cool.  Provenance; East Coast private collection.
