This unique piece is approximately 10 inches tall, 7 1/2 inches wide.  Top rim extends out approximately 4 1/2 inches.  Top half has the white slip exposed and painted in black geometric designs.  Bottom half has a reddish brown paint, which contains the majority of wear to the piece with the exception of one small chip on rim as can be seen in photos.  Appears intact without any restoration.  This piece displays well and oozes antiquity.  Circa, 900 - 1200 CE.  Photos do not seem to do this piece justice.  Provenance; South American Collection, Central American Private Collector.  A real nice piece.
