This Vicus ceramic frog effigy from Peru dates to between circa 200 BCE and 200 CE.  Measures 5 1/2 inches in height and 7 inches in length.  A wide bodied frog standing on four legs was painted in black resist dot patterns.  Features a deeply incised set of bulging eyes, tiny snout, and a broad slit mouth.  The low and wide spout echoes the shape of the body.  Very light professional restoration was done to eyelids and lips.  Left four-leg had been reattached with break lines filled and restored.  Light scratches as seen in pictures.  Appears intact.
