This piece from pre-Columbian Ecuador, in the form of a fat man, was a container used for offerings of coca leaves or other items.  The red painted area is highly burnished with the natural pottery left untouched.  In near perfect condition.  Coca bean eyes with ear ornaments and incised decoration throughout the cream clay.  Circa, 100 to 800 CE.  For $25 extra, I can offer a custom stand to accompany this piece, which would make an excellent display.  Measures approximately 3 1/4 inches in height, 3 inches in width, 1 1/4 inch in thickness.   Provenance; Portsmouth, NH private collector.
