The thin wall of this vessel only adds to the artistic ability of the creator from PreColumbian Peru, C. 450-5550AD.  This unique piece reflects a burial bundle from the Moche culture of northern coastal Peru.   This stirrup vessel measures approximately 6 1/4 inches in length, 4 inches in width, 7 1/2 inches in height.  The textile wrapped face and body has an an eerie yet eye appealing draw.  This hollow eyed, light, and thin walled piece is highly burnished and appears intact.  When tapped lightly with a finger nail, the piece has the sound of a piece with a stress crack or possible repair.  Purchased from ex Los Angeles private collection via Ancient Resource, LLC.  Please email with any questions or concerns.   US domestic shipping included with insurance and signature verification (other areas and countries please contact seller for shipping charges).  An absolute eye catching piece in a beautiful in a beautiful display condition.
