This piece features a depiction of what appears to be Chac, the Maya rain god, painted in a repeating pattern around the outer / upper rim of the bowl.  Below are three monkeys depicted in moving positions.  Measures 6 inches wide, 3 1/4 high.  If you are partial to dendritic material, this bowl is for you.  There are abrasions to paint.  No signs of restorations, as found condition.  Provenance; Kensington, MD collector.  A very cool piece.
