Pre-Columbian incised Mayan glyph pendant from the Chiapas area.  Measures 7/8 of an inch in height, 6 1/8 inches in length, 1/4 of an inch in depth.  Pendant is carved from a rib bone from an animal depicting five glyphs in very good detail.  Two conical drilled holes at each end for suspension.  Has a slight curve and mineral deposits.  Signs of having been once highly polished are still visible.  An unusual and rare piece.  Custom stand included.  Provenance; Minneapolis, Minnesota private collection.
