This bulbous flat bottom vessel features the portrait of either a warrior or high ranking offical protruding from the top.  Dressed in spotted clothing and large headdress.  It is a single spouted vessel with a bridged handle.  Well detailed face.  Minor abrasions and paint loss.  Possible restoration to nose and base of spout.  Appears intact at a height of approximately 8 1/2 inches, a width of approximately 5 1/4 inches, and a length of approximately 7 1/2 inches including the spout.  Circa, 100 to 750 CE.  Provenance; Private Southwest Collection, Private Wisconsin Collection.
