An exceptionally vibrant piece.  The deep bowl with slightly flaring lip has four toads painted on exterior.  Superior quality.  Measures 4 1/8 inches in diameter, 3 1/8 inches in height.  Excellent condition, unrestored.  Circa 200 to 750 CE.  From ex-collection of critic and author Francis Mason of Greenwich Village, NY; Art Ancient, Ltd.
