This amazing vessel depicts a fisherman floating on an inflatable animal skin.  His nets show his catch of the day.  Right hand appears to show him holding a net mender or knife.  Very well executed.  Minor paint losses.  Ample deposits to show age.  Approximately 7 inches high and 6 inches across.  Circa, 200 to 500 CE.  Provenance, Kate Kemper Collection, Arte Primitivo, New York, Pre-Columbian Relics, New York.
