Life size Moche puma head.  Circa 400 to 700 Common Era.  Highly burnished piece with deeply incised whiskers, large fangs, and protruding tongue.  Good mineral deposits and trails.  Measures 6 inches tall, 7 3/4 inches in length.  Provenance; ex-Florida Collection, sold at auction in Glendale, CA.  A very attractive example.
