Large Huastecan olla from San Luis Potisi, Puebla, Mexico.  Measures 9 inches in height, 12 inches in width, and a 6 inch mouth.  One probe hole exists, as can be seen in images.  No cracks or restorations. Minor chipping around rim of vase. Staining and minor abrasions.  Orange clay with painted black designs. A beautiful piece. Provenance; Atlanta, Georgia gallery.
