From the Chancay culture, circa 100 to 1450 CE.  Two beautiful wood tupus.  Each wrapped with thread below the carvings and covered in red ochre.  The two terminals are in the form of a parrot and owl.  Measure approximately 10 1/2 inches.  Intact and beautiful examples.  Provenance; East Coast collection.
